Geoffrey Friedlander, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C 

Geoffrey is a Board Certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse practitioner. He began his career working in live theater, spending almost twenty years backstage on Broadway, but always felt the need to help others. Geoff holds a BFA in technical theater from Boston University, completed his nursing BS at PACE University (while studying backstage at the Broadway musical “Wicked”), MS Family Nurse Practitioner program at Pace University, Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program at SUNY Stony Brook, and the Neuroscience Education Institute Master Pharmacology Program.

Geoff is passionate about providing great client-centered evidenced-based care.  Geoff works to build long-term relationships with his clients, listening and working collaboratively, evaluating each client individually with review of their medical/psychiatric history, blood analysis, genetic testing, and developing a plan together targeting symptoms.

Geoff sees children and adults and began his psychiatry career at Four Winds Hospital, which specializes in children and adolescents.  Geoff enjoys being outdoors, and has previously volunteered with the Cornwall Ambulance Corp, Black Rock Forest and as a member of the Board of Directors for Maternal Infant Services Network.
